Welcome to CATCOR Rent-A-Car. By booking or using our vehicles and services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
1. Rental Requirements
• The renter must possess a valid driver’s license recognized in the Philippines.
• The renter must provide a valid government-issued identification upon vehicle release.
• The minimum age requirement for self-drive rentals may apply depending on vehicle type.
• The renter must provide accurate personal and contact information.
2. Vehicle Use
• The rented vehicle must only be used for lawful purposes.
• The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, racing, or unauthorized transport services.
• The renter is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is operated safely and responsibly.
• The vehicle may only be driven by the authorized driver listed in the rental agreement.
3. Rental Period
• Rental rates are based on a 24-hour period unless otherwise stated.
• Late returns may result in additional charges based on the applicable rental rate.
• Any extension of the rental period must be approved in advance by CATCOR Rent-A-Car.
4. Security Deposit
• A refundable security deposit, usually equivalent to one day rental, may be required.
• The deposit will be returned after the vehicle is inspected and confirmed to be in good condition.
• Any damages, penalties, or unpaid charges may be deducted from the deposit.
5. Fuel Policy
• Vehicles are typically released with a specific fuel level.
• The renter is responsible for returning the vehicle with the same fuel level or covering the cost of refueling.
6. Traffic Violations and Penalties
• The renter is fully responsible for any traffic violations, fines, toll fees, or penalties incurred during the rental period.
• Any traffic violations may be charged to the renter even if they are received after the rental period.
7. Vehicle Damage or Loss
• The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or misuse of the vehicle during the rental period.
• Optional protection such as Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) or Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) may limit or eliminate the renter’s financial liability depending on the coverage selected.
8. Prohibited Uses
The vehicle must not be used for:
• Racing or competition
• Transporting illegal goods
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Subleasing or unauthorized commercial use
• Driving outside permitted areas without approval
9. Booking and Payment
• Reservations may require an advance payment or deposit to secure the vehicle.
• Accepted payment methods include GCash, bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.
• Full payment may be required depending on the rental agreement.
10. Cancellation and Refunds
• Cancellation and refund requests are subject to the terms outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.
• Certain promotional or discounted bookings may have non-refundable conditions.
11. Airport Transfer and Chauffeur Services
• Airport transfer bookings must be made in advance to ensure vehicle availability.
• Customers must provide accurate flight details and pickup information.
12. Limitation of Liability
CATCOR Rent-A-Car shall not be held liable for delays, losses, or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic conditions, weather events, or other unforeseen situations.
13. Agreement
By confirming a booking or using our services, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
